URARTU FC: REVIEW OF THE 2025/26 SEASON
Urartu FC have completed their 2025/26 season. Let's take a look back at our first team's performance throughout the season.
FASTEX PREMIER LEAGUE
Urartu FC finished the first half of the season in 2nd place.
In the first 15 matches, Robert Arzumanyan's team won 8 games, drew 5, and lost 2. The team scored 25 goals and conceded only 8.
In the second half of the season, Urartu FC played 12 more matches. Overall, the team finished the league with 14 wins, 7 draws, and 6 losses. With 49 points, Urartu FC ended the season in 5th place.
Our striker Bruno Michel became the league's top scorer with 18 goals and 2 assists.
ARMENIAN CUP
Urartu FC started its Armenian Cup campaign in the 16th Round against Van.
The team won 4–0 thanks to two goals from Karen Melkonyan and one goal each from Oleg Polyakov and Edik Vardanyan.
In the quarter-finals, Urartu faced FC Ararat. The first match ended 0-3, while the second ended 2-1.
In the semi-finals, our team played against FC Andranik. The first match finished 1-1, and we won the second match 1-0.
In the Armenian Cup final, our team faced FC Noah, but we lost 4-2.
NATIONAL TEAMS
Several Urartu FC players were called up to national teams during the season.
Armenia national team- Erik Piloyan, Arman Ghazaryan, Alexander Mishiev, Gor Matinyan.
U21 National Team- Levon Bashoyan, Edik Vardanyan.
