VICTORY OVER BKMA-2
In the 4th round of the Armenian First League, Urartu-2 hosted BKMA-2. The match ended in a 3–2 victory.
The teams started the match actively, creating dangerous moments around each other’s penalty areas and building attacks. In the 15th minute, the opponents were awarded a free kick, but Gishyan dealt with the threat. A few minutes later, in the 20th minute, our team was awarded a free kick. Hayk Stepanyan struck the ball beautifully towards goal, but his effort went just over the crossbar.
In the 28th minute, BKMA-2 managed to open the scoring.
Then, in the 35th minute, the visitors were awarded a penalty and doubled their advantage.
The first half ended with the opponents leading 2–0.
In the 56th minute, Davit Hovhannisyan found the back of the net, reducing the deficit.
Our team created several chances towards the end of the match but was unable to find another goal.
In the closing stages, the hosts were awarded a penalty, which Arsen Arakelyan confidently converted.
In the final minutes of added time, we earned a second penalty. Arsen Arakelyan stepped up again and converted it to complete his brace.
Thus, the match ended 3–2 in favor of our team.
