Urartu FC midfielder Erik Vardanyan is ending his football career. The 24-year-old has decided to end his football career after a lengthy recovery from a knee injury. Recall that Vardanyan made his first steps in football at Urartu FC Academy (formerly Banants FC), then continue to grow at the academy of the Spanish giant, FC Barcelona. He played for such clubs as FC Pyunik and FC Sochi. Returning to his native Urartu FC, the midfielder took part in 7 matches.

We'd like to add that the paths of the Urartu Football Club and Erik Vardanyan do not diverge: the footballer will remain in the structure of the club, will act as a scout-analyst in the sports department and help the team achieve high achievements.
