A DRAW AWAY
In the second round of the Armenian First League, Urartu-2 played away against Pyunik Academy. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The first half was played in an even contest. Both teams created several dangerous moments in each other’s penalty areas,
but neither side managed to score.
Pyunik Academy earned several corner kicks, but our defenders dealt with them confidently and cleared the ball from the danger zone.
The second half was also played in an even contest.
In the 67th minute, Pyunik Academy were awarded a penalty and successfully converted it to open the scoring.
Towards the end of the match, Alex Manukyan finished a counterattack with a powerful strike to send the ball into t
he opponent’s net and level the score.
As a result, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
