A TENSELY TENSE DERBY ENDED IN A DRAW
In the 13th round of the Fastex Premier League, Urartu played away against Ararat-Armenia.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw. Urartu’s only goal was scored by Bruno Michel.
The opening minutes were quite difficult for Urartu, as the opponent launched several dangerous attacks, but the defense managed to neutralize them.
Urartu’s forwards Michel and Edik Vardanyan had some good chances, but their passes and shots failed to find the target.
Late in the first half, a penalty was awarded to Ararat-Armenia, which they converted to take the lead.
The second half was tense for both sides. Urartu pushed hard to equalize, but Ararat-Armenia’s defenders held firm.
As the match neared its end, both teams created dangerous chances, but none were successful.
However, in the 88th minute, Urartu earned a penalty, which Bruno Michel confidently scored.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw, a fair result for both teams in this round’s central fixture.
