ARARAT-2 - URARTU-2 ENDS IN A DRAW
In the 18th round of the Armenian First League, Urartu-2 played away against Ararat-2.
In the first half, both teams played actively. In the 10th minute, Ararat-2 created a dangerous moment and shot at our goal, but the goalkeeper made a save. In the middle of the half Urartu-2 could have opened the scoring, but Narek Aleksanyan’s shot went wide. At the end of the half, both teams started attacking more. In the 30th minute, Urartu-2 earned a corner kick, but the Ararat-2 goalkeeper caught the ball. The opponent earned a free kick, but our defenders send the ball away from the penalty area.
The first half ended 0–0.
In the second half, the Urartu-2 goalkeeper stood out, sending the ball away several times after the opponent’s corner kicks.
In the 74th minute, thanks to a goal by Erik Asatryan, our team opened the scoring. In the 84th minute, Ararat-2 could equalise the score. Our team continued to attack actively but could not score more.
So we finish the first match of the second part of the championship with a 1–1 draw.
