DRAW IN THE FIRST MATCH OF THE CUP SEMI-FINAL
In the semi-finals of the Armenian Cup, Urartu FC faced FC Andranik. The match ended in a 1–1 draw. Artem Poliarus scored for our team.
The game started well for our team: from the opening minutes we created a variety of attacks near the opponent’s goal, and in the 11th minute we earned a penalty, which Artem Poliarus confidently converted.
After conceding, the opponents tried to create several dangerous chances, but our defenders stood firm.
Until the end of the first half, our team had several promising attacking opportunities, but they did not lead to a final shot.
Thus, at halftime, our team went to the dressing room with a one-goal advantage.
The second half also began with our team in control. We had many chances, but the finishing attempts lacked accuracy.
Towards the end of the match, the opponent managed to score and make the game even more exciting.
So, the finalist of the Cup will be decided in two weeks at our home stadium.
