During the friendly fixture with the Russian FC Lokomotiv, which our team held during the winter training camp in the UAE, Urartu FC midfielder Sergey Mkrtchyan was seriously injured: a torn anterior cruciate ligament and mild rupture of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus.

The footballer has already undergone knee surgery, which was successful. Note that the recovery period: from 4 to 6 months.
