OLEG POLIAKOV ENDED HIS PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Our team’s player Oleg Polyakov is ending his professional career
Polyakov joined Urartu FC in the 2020/21 season.
He made 163 appearances for the club, scored 16 goals, and won the domestic double with the team in the 2022/23 season.

We present his words.

“Dear Urartu family,
Today, I want to share a decision that was not easy for me to make. I am ending my professional football career.
Football has been my life for many years. It has given me unforgettable emotions, victories, challenges, friendships, and moments that I will always cherish. And I am happy that an important part of this journey took place at Urartu.
Over the years, I had the honour of making 163 appearances for Urartu and scoring 16 goals. But for me, the greatest reward was never the personal statistics, but the team’s success. I am proud to have won the domestic double with the club in the 2022/23 season. These achievements and memories will remain in my heart forever.
I would like to sincerely thank the club’s management, coaches, medical staff, all the employees and, of course, my teammates. Thank you to everyone who was there for me, supported me and helped me become better every day.
I would like to express my special gratitude to our fans. It was truly special to receive your messages of support after every game, regardless of the result. Thank you for your incredible support and for being with us in every match. Your belief, energy and love for the club always gave me the strength to step onto the pitch and give my all. It was a great honour to play in front of you.
I am proud to have worn the Urartu shirt and defended the colours of this club. A team that will forever remain in my heart.
It is time to open a new chapter in my life, but Urartu will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for your trust, support and every moment we shared. I will never forget any of it.
