URARTU-2 CELEBRATES A CONFIDENT VICTORY
In Round 21, Urartu-2 secured a comeback victory against Ararat-Armenia-2 with a score of 3–1.
Narek Aleksanyan scored a brace for our team, while Erik Otaryan added another goal.
Urartu-2 created the first dangerous chance right at the beginning of the match, in the 5th minute, taking a shot at the opponent’s goal, but the Ararat-Armenia-2 goalkeeper helped his team.
Our team continued to play actively in the opponent’s half, which was followed by attacks from the opponent as well.
Nevertheless, the active play was not enough for either team to take the lead in the first half.
Thus, after the first half, the teams went into the break with a score of 0–0.
In the second half, in the 64th minute, our team made a dangerous shot, but a defender blocked it.
In the 67th minute, after a throw-in and a nice pass, Narek Aleksanyan scored with a strong shot and gave his team the lead.
A few minutes later, Narek scored a brace.
Soon after, Urartu-2 scored another goal. Erik Otaryan scored the third goal for our team.
Near the end of the match, Vahagn Nahapetyan scored and reduced the score difference. However, the opponent managed to score against us only once. Thus, Urartu-2 secured a comeback victory in the 21st round.
