URARTU FC IN THE ARMENIAN CUP SEMIFINALS
Urartu secures a place in the semifinals with a confident victory
The match started with attacks from both teams.
Our team created the first dangerous chance in the 9th minute, but the Ararat goalkeeper saved the situation.
Ararat opened the scoring in the 24th minute.
However, our team quickly equalized, as Alexander Loven scored just minutes later.
At the end of the first half, Nicholas Kaloukyan sent the ball into the near corner, making it 2–1 before the break.
In the second half, our team applied clear pressure on the opponent, playing actively and constantly keeping the game in Ararat’s half.
Urartu made several dangerous attempts on goal, but they did not find the target.
On the 86th minute Ararat scored another goal.
After few minutes they scored again, making the score 2-3.
Thus, the match ended with a score of 2-3, but as a result of two games, our team won 5-3 and advanced to the semi-finals of the Armenian Cup.
