WE ARE LEAVING EUROPEAN CUPS

In the return match of the second round of the UEFA Conference League qualifying round, Urartu lost to Banik with a score of 0:2.

From the first minutes, the battle on the field was equal. The game was mainly played in the center, but the players of "Banik" managed to open the scoring in the 15th minute during a quick attack. Everton opened the scoring after a pass from the left flank. Our players tried to attack until the end of the half, but only one of them ended with a strike. As a result, no new goals were scored in the first half.

 

The second half began the same way as the first one ended. Banik mainly attacked, and all our team's attacks were stopped by the opponent. Some of the opponent's attacks ended with shots, but even then our team's goalkeeper Aik Kazaryan saved them. But in the 51st minute, he couldn't help the team either, and Banik doubled the score. Chalush scored the goal. Until the end of the game, our team had one or two moments to attack, but the ball didn't get into the opponent's goal.

Thus, based on the results of two games, we lose with a score of 1:7 and leave the European Cup competition.

It should also be noted that the Armenian Premier League will start on August 5, where our team's first opponent will be Pyunik. The game will take place at the Urartu Stadium and will begin at 19:00.
