WE WON NOA-GIRLS IN THE AWAY MATCH
In the 5th round of the Women’s Premier League, our girls defeated Noah-Girls 4–1 away.
Mariam Nigoyan and Ruzan Injyan were on the scoresheet for our team, while Lusine Kostanyan scored twice.
From the very beginning of the first half, our girls created numerous chances in the opponent’s penalty area and had plenty of opportunities to take shots on goal.
The first of those chances was converted by team captain Lusine Kostanyan, who opened the scoring following a cross from the left flank. The second goal was not long in coming either, as just a few minutes later Kostanyan doubled our lead with a beautiful long-range strike.
No further goals were scored in the first half, and the teams went into the break.
The start of the second half once again belonged to our team, and we managed to score another goal. This time, Mariam Nigoyan found the back of the net. A few minutes later, following a corner-kick routine, the opponents managed to pull one goal back. However, Ruzan Injyan ultimately had the final say, putting the finishing touch on the match.
As a result, after four matches, our team has four victories and sits alone at the top of the league table.
